Dorm Information

If you are staying in the dorms during Immersion, here is some information about your accomodations:

1. Rooms will be located in Settegast Hall - http://www.uh.edu/campus_map/buildings/SH.html

2. Check-in is scheduled from 3-6 in the lobby of Oberholtzer Hall (across the quad from Settegast). During check-in you will receive your room key, linens, and meal card.

3. Everyone has their own room, however, you will share a single-sex bathroom with one other person.

4. Linens are provided - pillow, pillowcase, sheets, light blanket, towel. You may want to bring another blanket and/or pillow for comfort. Bring an extra towel for the swimming party/bbq on Saturday.

5. Toiletries are not provided. Bring all your own shampoo, soap, etc...

6. There are no alarm clocks or TVs in dorm rooms. There are no phones in dorm rooms, though the phone jacks are active if you really want to bring a phone and cord.

7. There are no coffee makers in rooms. There is no free coffee at morning breakfast in the cafeteria (despite all our grousing to the dorm services folks). There is a coffee concession for your latte-fix located in front of the cafeteria and prices are slightly less than Starbucks. We promise to have coffee waiting for you prior to your first morning meeting!

8. There is Ethernet access in the dorm

9. Dorms are air-conditioned.

10. Laundry facilities are available in the dorms.
